Million Trees Association is a civil society organization based in Baghdad and registered with the Department of Non-Governmental Organizations at the General Secretariat of the Council of Ministers of Iraq (certificate no. 1A77790, dated 15/09/2015). It specializes in combating desertification, establishing productive and desert forests, afforesting parks and streets, encouraging agriculture in homes, schools, and universities, and preserving Iraq’s plant heritage.
